Scott Summers - Green

Scott Summers is an attorney and author from McHenry County. His books include Guardianship and Conservatorship: A Handbook for Lawyers and Advance Health Care Directives: A Handbook for Professionals, both published by the American Bar Association (www.ababooks.org). A graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law, he also holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Summers worked in the governmental and nonprofit sectors.

Summers said at a Green Party convention in Springfield: "As Senator, I'll stand up for all of us -- we, the good, honest, hard working people of this nation -- and do my very best to set things right. I'll work tirelessly for the basic values that every American cherishes: decency, justice, and fair play."

Summers is married and the father of two.
