Karen Young
Karen Young is the Green Party candidate for secretary of state of Illinois. She is the daughter of a Guatemalan woman and a Danish/German man from northern Wisconsin. She has a professional background in commercial radio and is the founder of Media Democracy Chicago. She is active in North Side (Chicago) and Chicago Area Greens, and is media coordinator for state Green Party.
